You can submit personal audio essays, interviews, documentaries, conversations, & music to a maximum length of ten minutes. Audio must be in .wav or .mp3 or mp4 format. Ideally audio stories will contain sounds of the natural environment, people working at their jobs, walking a trail, demonstrating or explaining something. Audio recorded at low volumes, or too loud (distorted) or with loud background noises that would distract listeners, will not be accepted. Be sure to send a complete description to help introduce the audio. It may by edited for brevity. Also include a photo to accompany the audio.

Include the following information with your submission:

  • Your Full Name
  • Your primary occupation
  • Your gender
  • Your email address
  • Your street address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your organization and role (if applicable)
  • A brief bio
  • How you heard about PARNS
  • OTHER: Anything else you think it is important for us to know about you or your submission

Help, and Advice

At the moment, because the current PARNS team is relatively small, we can provide general advice and tips by email, but we are not in a position to help produce your story. We may suggest edits for clarity and accuracy, but all production and editing is your responsibility.
