Majd Al Zhouri: “When a bomb destroyed my bedroom in my home, my dreams were shattered.” Three years later, Majd and his family, having escaped the devastation of Syria, landed in Antigonish. Ten months later, barely able to speak English fluently, Majd found himself on stage as a principal actor in a story eerily similar to his life story. This community theatre experience became a real healing therapy which has helped him to dream again.
