The Nettletons

Dec 20, 2017 | Land & Sea, Local & Global Action

Brian and Martha Nettleton, actual characters in Jame Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small, moved from Yorkshire, England to Nova Scotia and set up a sheep farm on Isle Madame, Cape Breton. Today, daughter Sarah and mother Martha, with the help of their sheep dog, run the farm and, as you will see in this film, they are fascinating characters in real life too!
